Installing email encryption is actually quite simple if you know the steps to get the necessary files and utilities installed on your desktop or laptop. These steps are for windows based machines, and when I finalize a post for the mac, the link will be posted at the bottom.
There are certain files and utilities that allow you and your email browser to encrypt and decrypt messages that you might like to have encrypted when emailing people on the internet. Although there are substantial security features built into web based browsers such gmail, and hotmail, I have found with some messages it is best to be able to encrypt the message within the email. This would make the email message look like a bunch of unreadable characters if the email were to somehow be intercepted. So a person who might snag an email wouldn’t be able to read it without the proper encryption keys as the encryption and decryption happens within the email browser such as thunderbird or outlook. Using these localized email browsers allow encryption to be automated, and as simple if you weren’t.
What you need: an installer called gpgforwin.exe and priviledges to install the software. head to a search engine as seen in the picture
